720p Movies

The world has changed, the 720p movies format is probably only the beginning of the decline of the cinema. There was indeed a time when going to a movie was not just a pleasurable social activity but it was the only way you could truly enjoy a movie, noticing all the details that came with it. But now a decent 22” screen and a 720p movie handy is all you need to have the beginning of a great night.

And the fact of the matter is that the 720p movies have finally freed movie goers from the ordeal of standing each other. The people who go to the 720p movie just to silently enjoy their flick can go ahead and gather with friend and watch their movies while the guys who prefer commenting every little scene can get together and have a movie night extravaganza without having everyone in the theater room shushing them down. Of course the last attempt to come back to life the cinema has brought in, the 3D movie has guaranteed it will leave a couple of year more but with Samsung already stocking up with 3D screens and even better with 3D wired glasses that can provide home movie watchers an even more surreal experience there is no doubt that the 720p movies are here to signal the beginning of a new age.

So let’s stand back together and watch as movies 720p quality begin to reign and together we can start a new movement where a movie has not truly come out until it has appeared on blue ray or 720p equivalent. Because that is the big draw card Hollywood still has to play: they know that we are not really willing to wait 3 to 4 months, sometimes even more than that, to see a movie. So it is their will that keep cinema theatres alive because we have no choice but to see movies their way. However there are many projects going on right now, like YouTube going HD and then pay per view that will allow us to watch HD movies from our own homes without bothering so much with going to cinemas. So the technology that will allow us to watch 720p movies from day one of release while still bringing in the big box office incomes is already in place.

So those are the good news about the movies 720p quality that will soon hit our screens. The even better news is that the projectors technology keeps going up while the prices keep going down. Because, as thing are now, you would probably have to spend anywhere from $1000 to $3000 to have a large enough screen that will just blow you away. But the video projectors technology is changing all that. Just like the subwoofer changed the way we listen to music and except for the most eccentric audiophiles the quality of music you can play in your own home has been doubling every year for the past 10 years so is the size and quality of images you can now project been doubling. In fact the LED projectors coming out right now are becoming powerful enough that you can watch 720p movies on them and have your own home made cinema.
